Dax outlook: stock market before a stormy week

In principle, nothing changed on the stock market for three weeks: On November 21, the leading German index, the Dax, started trading at 14,396 points and last Friday it closed at 14,371 points. Should momentum come in again this year, then in the coming week.

Because this is a tough one: In a span of just 48 hours, the US inflation rate for November will be published on Tuesday afternoon, the interest rate decision by the US Federal Reserve will be published on Wednesday evening and the interest rate decision by the European Central Bank (ECB) on Thursday afternoon. The week ends with the Witches’ Sabbath on Friday, when options on stocks and indices expire and the markets are therefore often particularly volatile.
