Dax makes up for losses

Dusseldorf The leading German index fell significantly at the start of trading due to the high inflation rates in Spain and France, but is able to make up for the losses. At midday on the last trading day in February, the Dax was unchanged at 15,390 points and thus at a similar level as at the beginning of the month.

The biggest gainers include Aixtron and PVA Tepla with a plus of eleven and twelve percent respectively. The semiconductor supplier Aixtron wants to accelerate growth in the new year after being burdened by delivery delays. In 2023, sales should now grow by at least a quarter and profitability should improve,

After surprisingly strong business figures, PVA Tepla shares were among the big winners. In the meantime, the increase was 21 percent. According to a trader, the supplier of systems for the production and finishing of materials was well above expectations in terms of both sales and Ebitda.
