Dax course currently: New recovery attempt started

Frankfurt The Dax will try to recover on Tuesday. Shortly after the start of trading, the leading German index was up 0.8 percent at 12,331 points. Positive impetus had already come from some trading centers in Asia. In Japan, for example, the Nikkei closed higher.

The stock market barometer had fallen to its lowest level in almost two years before the weekend. However, the stock market traders do not see a sign of a sustained upswing and therefore do not want to give the all-clear. The market is currently suffering from a lack of investor willingness to buy. Market participants are “extremely nervous,” says stock market observer Thomas Altmann from QC Partners. In the tension between rising interest rates, high inflation and concerns about the economy, many investors do not want to take any risks. “There are still few who dare to buy in the current market environment full of economic and political risks,” says Altmann.
