Dusseldorf Shortly before the long Pentecost weekend, the leading German index Dax regained the 16,000 point mark in the meantime. At the close of trading, the Frankfurt stock exchange barometer was again slightly below the round mark and was up 1.2 percent at 15,984 points.
After the stock market barometer climbed to a new record high last Friday, it fell back below 16,000 on Wednesday, returning to its old trading range. The Dax also seemed to be trading with a clearly negative weekly balance. On Friday afternoon it was still 0.4 percent down, the low for the day was 15,726 points.
