Dusseldorf The Dax continued to rise on Wednesday. The leading German index closed 1.2 percent up at 15,329 points. Commerzbank analyst Antje Praefcke said: “The market seems to be waiting for the next impulse.”

According to Jochen Stanzl, chief market analyst at CMC Markets, the Dax is showing signs of recovery, but it is still too early to speak of a sustainable trend reversal. The market will probably only dare to attack the chart-technically important mark of 15,300 points if there is good news about inflation – “or not if hopes are disappointed”. Data on inflation in Germany for March will be released on Thursday.
