Dusseldorf There is a lack of movement on the German stock market this week. The Dax is up 0.3 percent on Thursday morning at 15,123 points.
The leading German index benefits from the fact that the most important indices in the USA made up for their interim losses before the end of trading. In Hong Kong, the Hang Seng index rose to its highest level since early April 2022 on the first day after the Lunar New Year. Japan’s Nikkei hit its highest level in seven months.
With minimalist means, the Dax has managed to establish itself above the 15,000 point mark in the past few days. The range between the high (15,152) and low (14,970) for the week is just 182 points. This is very low level over four trading days. The trading volume is also correspondingly below the average of the past few weeks.
