Daimler Truck is almost certain to be included in the Dax

Frankfurt Daimler Truck has only been listed on the stock exchange as an independent company for two months. But as early as March, the former commercial vehicle subsidiary of Mercedes-Benz could be included in the leading German index Dax – a lightning-fast rise to the first stock exchange league.

Once a quarter, Deutsche Börse decides on the composition of its most important indices, the Dax, MDax, SDax and TecDax. Next time on March 3rd. In addition to Daimler Truck, Hannover Re also has a chance of being listed on the Dax – even if the share has fallen somewhat after the recent price slide.

Daimler Truck would probably step up for the consumer goods group Beiersdorf, which has to worry about its Dax place. If Hannover Re were to be promoted to the Dax, the Heidelberg Cement building materials group would have to free up its place in the Dax from the current perspective.
