Gaevoy announced that the company’s DeFi operations suffered a loss of approximately $160 million. CeFi and OTC transactions were not affected by the cyber attack. Hackers stole a total of 90 types of altcoins from the platform. None of the stolen altconies are worth more than $2.5 million.

“If you have an MCC agreement with Wintermute, your funds are still safe. There may be disruptions in the services provided by the platform for a few days. Then we will be back to normal.”

Gaevoy made a heartwarming statement for the Wintermute platform lenders. The CEO stated that they want to pay the lenders as soon as possible.

Finally, Gaevoy addressed those who hacked the platform. To criminals if hackers bring back what they stole white hat (benevolent) announced that it will apply hacker treatment.
