Terra Classic core developer Joint L1 Task Force (L1TF) has released details of its Q4 development and maintenance plan for the network. The community, on the other hand, continues to criticize L1TF for their approach to Q4 and upgrades affecting Dapps and projects in Q3 due to technical issues. However, the statement also included information that L1TF plans to work free of charge in the 4th quarter. taking.
Developer Vinh Nguyen announced the Q4 offering in a post published on September 17. Unexpectedly, the team plans to work only on maintenance, solving technical problems and implementing improvement suggestions. As we reported as Koinfinans.com, there are currently only three developers in the team: Vinh, Gevik and Inon Man.
The lack of any upgrades or major improvements has drawn criticism from the Terra Classic community. While community members appreciate L1TF’s free operation, they completely disagree with the Q4 offer. Moreover, the community believes that the team is incomplete and needs new developers or replacement of existing ones.
The Joint L1 Task Force successfully upgraded the network to core v2.2.1 on September 12, 2023. However, we noticed technical debt accumulated from many previous upgrades that would require dedicated time for maintenance. To achieve parity quickly, we traded layer 2 compatibility for speed, resulting in many broken DApps and Tools.

Developers continue to recommend a stable Layer 1 infrastructure and easy-to-use Terra Classic smart contract development libraries. The team will mostly focus on working to troubleshoot L1 technical issues, update key DApps on the network, and collaborate with other infrastructure teams.
In addition, L1TF will issue a report if an improvement suggestion is dangerous and cannot be implemented. The team will only adhere to these L1 recommendations. The total budget for Q4 is $9000, or 160 million LUNC. Since the team plans to volunteer throughout the quarter, the total cost only includes optional computing costs for three months.
