Munich, Dusseldorf The dispute over the inheritance of the late multi-billionaire Heinz Hermann Thiele takes on a new dimension. As the Handelsblatt learned, his son Henrik has filed a lawsuit. The value in dispute amounts to 4.5 billion euros. Henrik Thiele failed in the first attempt on Tuesday before the Munich Regional Court. An appeal is considered likely. Clemens Hüber, one of Henrik Thiele’s lawyers, explained that the verdict has significant weaknesses and will now be examined intensively.
Henrik Thiele’s lawsuit is directed against Robin Brühmüller in his capacity as executor of the entrepreneur who died in spring 2021. In addition, the Thiele son sued his stepmother Nadia Thiele.
The judgment is before the Handelsblatt. Normally, an heir is entitled to at least one eighth of the inherited property by law. Henrik Thiele had renounced it. He now wanted to have this waiver declared null and void by a court.
