Three dead in Russian shelling of Cherson – Five dead in Donetsk

At least three people were killed in a Russian attack on the Cherson region in southern Ukraine on Wednesday. A five-year-old boy was among the victims, Ukrainian media reported, citing local authorities. Two people were seriously injured in the fire attack on the village of Zelenivka. People were on their way to a shop when the village came under fire. The reports did not indicate which weapons were used to fire on the village.

In eastern Ukraine, five people died in Russian-controlled Donbass after Ukrainian forces fired on them. Another 23 people were injured in the attacks in the Donetsk region, the Russian state agency TASS reported, citing local authorities.
