Dusseldorf Despite all the crises, the 40 Dax companies posted record profits again in the past quarter. Together, the companies earned 30 billion euros net, more than ever before in a third quarter. According to Handelsblatt calculations, that’s a good three billion euros more than a year ago – an increase of twelve percent.
With Siemens, the last Dax group presented its balance sheet for the months of July to September on Thursday. The Munich-based company reported a net profit of 2.7 billion euros, more than twice as much as in the previous year.
A number of companies, including Mercedes, Henkel, Infineon and Deutsche Telekom, have raised their annual forecast due to the good development over the past three months. This also applies to some companies from the second and third tier.
