Continental boss Nikolai Setzer is expanding cyber security

Frankfurt, Dusseldorf After the cyber attack on Continental, the automotive supplier wants to further expand its IT security. The topic has “top priority,” says Conti boss Nikolai Setzer in an interview with the Handelsblatt. The Dax group will continue to strengthen the “capacities and expertise” in this area.

It is the first time that Setzer has commented personally on the subject. Continental announced in August that the company had discovered and averted an attack on its systems. At the beginning of November, the Dax group had to admit that 40 terabytes of data were lost in the attack.
