Berlin The federal government supports the construction and purchase of real estate from June 1st with a new funding program. The “Home Ownership for Families” (WEF) program of the federal loan institute for reconstruction (KfW) is primarily intended to help families with low and medium incomes to acquire their own property.
Specifically, it is about support for the construction or initial purchase of newly built, owner-occupied and climate-friendly property. “With the help of low-interest KfW loans, we relieve families before the start of the construction project,” said Federal Building Minister Klara Geywitz (SPD) when the funding conditions were announced.
