Berlin Vaccinated and convalescent people who have already received a booster are to be exempted from the obligation to test, with a few exceptions. That was decided by the federal and state health ministers’ conference on Tuesday evening, as the chairman of the state ministers, Klaus Holetschek (CSU) from Bavaria, said in Munich.

The relief should be assessed after two months at the latest and, if necessary, adjusted according to the situation dynamics, added Holetschek. The exemption from the obligation to test could take effect 15 days after the booster vaccination. However, when accessing medical and care facilities in order to protect the people who are particularly at risk there, a negative test result should also be required of those who are “boosted”.

Specifically, it is about corona rules based on the 2G plus model – i.e. if a test is also required of them if access is only available to vaccinated and convalescent people (2G). According to the latest federal and state resolutions, 2G applies to restaurants, leisure and cultural facilities, among other things; In addition, 2G-plus requirements can also be added.
