Communication Ban Request About Bankman-Fried!

US prosecutors are asking Judge Lewis Kaplan in the Sam Bankman-Fried case to change the defendant’s bail terms. According to the documents, the prosecution requested that SBF be barred from communicating with former Alameda and FTX employees.

According to the news that was reflected in the press in the past hours, Bankman-Fried made a phone call with FTX’s current legal counsel, Ryne Miller, to change the direction of the case. Realizing the situation, the prosecutors immediately took action.

“I say let’s build a constructive relationship by reconnecting. That way we can use each other as resources whenever possible or examine the issues of mutual interest in the case.”

Bankman-Fried made this call via the encrypted messaging app Signal, prosecutors claim. The document also states that SBF uses Signal to reach not only Miller but many former FTX employees.
