No more Corona: The pandemic in Denmark was history yesterday and the country was back in normal operation.
And here? New corona fear is constantly being fueled. District administrators even threaten parents and small children with quarantine jail if they violate corona measures.
► It cannot go on like this!
Germany has to dare more Denmark – instead of sticking to the lead and threat mode. Thanks to turbo vaccinations, the Danes are showing that the pandemic can be defeated.
A clear roadmap is needed for such a triumph. And the political will to end paternalism as quickly as possible.
But both the federal and state governments are still missing. And unfortunately there is little hope that this will change quickly after the general election.
