Cologne – A young man collapsed and died bleeding early on Monday morning on Rochusplatz in Cologne-Bickendorf. Apparently he was evidently an act of violence.
At around 5.15 a.m., witnesses alerted the police. Rescue workers could no longer help the man. He died on the spot. The police and the public prosecutor’s office assume a homicide.
The crime scene is cordoned off
The act happened in front of a club that previously celebrated Halloween. It is not yet known whether the deceased was a guest there before.
A homicide squad has started the investigation and is asking for information on a presumed argument between the victim, who has not yet been unequivocally identified, with a man around 20 years old who is said to have been wearing a white top.
