Cologne – Since the beginning of the pandemic in 1894, the city of Cologne has initiated administrative offense proceedings against young people between the ages of 14 and 17. You had violated the Corona Protection Ordinance. The city announced this on request from BILD.

Most of the violations were committed by young people born in 2003 (17 years old at the time of the offense) and 2004. They were followed by a total of 1304 proceedings (414 notices of fines).

The fewest violations were committed by young people born in 2007. There were only 49 proceedings there, and a fine was imposed in only one case.

So far, the city of Düsseldorf has counted almost 1,000 administrative offense proceedings against 14 to 17-year-olds for violations of the Corona Protection Ordinance. The offenses take a total of 94,000 euros in fines. “Almost 75,500 euros of these claims have already been collected,” said a city spokesman.
