2023 - Citroen logo changed! back to essence

In recent years, many technology and automotive companies have changed their logos. We mainly saw logos like Peugeot that refer to the past. Today, Citroen introduced its logo to be used on new cars. Here are the details…

Citroen logo changed! back in 1919

In the past months, Peugeot has changed its famous lion logo for the 13th time. It now uses the 3D model of the version we saw in 1960. Citroen took a similar step and implemented a format very similar to the first logo in its history.

As you can see in the image above, the company chose a design very similar to the Citroen logo in 1919. Moreover, by displaying this new logo on the front grille of a vehicle as a representation, it gave an idea of how it would look.

The new Peugeot logo is used for the first time!

Introduced in 2021, the new Peugeot logo was used for the first time on the Peugeot 308. The new logo also drew attention with its technology.

It is stated that the new logo design in the image below will be used in vehicles launched as of 2023. Vincent Cobée, CEO of Citroen, said:

As we enter possibly the most exciting chapter in our 103-year history, it is time for Citroen to adopt a new look, modern and contemporary. Our new identity is bold, challenging traditional industry rules, and an elegant symbol of progress, especially by ensuring that all experiences, including electric driving, are more affordable, comfortable and enjoyable no matter what.
