Stuttgart In Baden-Württemberg they leave no stone unturned to polish up the state’s image – even the renowned advertising agency Jung von Matt was hired to drum up the drums for what has recently been known as “The Länd”.
At least for real estate in Stuttgart there is no need for advertising: if you draw a circle with a radius of 25 kilometers around the Stuttgart Palace, you will most certainly not find cheap real estate any more.
In the state capital, house prices rose by just 3.2 percent last year, according to an evaluation of the purchase prices by the real estate agent von Poll, but prices have doubled over the past ten years. At an average of 814,500 euros, real estate is now significantly more expensive than in cities like Frankfurt or Cologne.
