Jesse Powell, co-founder and CEO of Kraken, one of the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchanges, is leaving his position as CEO.
According to the information conveyed by the Wall Street Journal, there is a change in Kraken management.
After Jesse Powell steps down as CEO, this role is expected to be filled by Dave Ripley, who is the current COO of the exchange.
Although Powell steps down as Kraken’s CEO, chairman of the board will continue to undertake. Powell will also continue to be active on the exchange.
