Celsius Gradually Starts Withdrawals

Crypto lending startup that went bankrupt last year Celsiusmade a critical statement to its creditors via its Twitter account.

According to the share made from the official account, some investors who keep their money in Escrow accounts will be able to withdraw their money. The bankrupt crypto firm received court approval for restricted withdrawals last January. The lawyers who handled the bankruptcy case allowed users to withdraw up to 94% of their assets from the platform.

Who Can Withdraw Their Money?

The sunken crypto startup has published a directive on who can withdraw money in the directive published on its blog site. According to the directive, investors who have never participated in interest or borrowing programs will be able to withdraw their money from Celsius. There is no amount limit for customers in this class.

The second group, which is eligible to withdraw money, includes customers engaged in interest/debt activity. Under US bankruptcy law, customers in this group will not be able to withdraw more than $7,575.

Persons who previously worked for Celsius or were on duty while in the bankruptcy process cannot withdraw their money in any way.
