Ripple and so the story of its native token XRP has been pretty complicated for the past two years. The ongoing legal battle between the SEC & Ripple has been interpreted differently by many different names. The lawsuit, which began in December 2020, began with the SEC’s designation of XRP as a security.
Bestselling author and entrepreneur Bryant McGillIn a statement on his LinkedIn account, he shared his views on the future of Ripple and its native token, XRP. According to McGill, XRP has the potential to explode very soon.
“My Hopes Are High for Ripple and XRP”
Koinfinans.com As we reported, McGill, who shared his views on XRP and Ripple in his post on his Twitter account, shared that the XRP price could have a volcanic eruption very closely. Stating that he shared similar feelings in September, McGill stated that his views have not changed and he has maintained his stance since last year, referring to his past sharing. Looking at McGill’s past, it is possible to see that he is a strict Ripple (XRP) fan.
It is possible to see a similar view in Daniel Moncada, who also starred in the TV series Breaking Bad. Moncada also frequently expresses that he believes the XRP price will rise in his posts. Moncada, in a post by David Gokhstein, expressed his views by answering the question “whether Ripple can win against the SEC”.
Anndy Lian, who also recently published a book about NFTs, also asked a question to gauge her fans’ opinions. Asking for investment advice in the post he shared on his Twitter account, Lian offered ADA, XRP and meme coin as options.
XRP Reacts to Local Wins
San Francisco-based tech company Ripple recorded a win over the SEC. This win came as a result of District Court Judge Analise’s decision that the SEC needed to provide some vital documents for the case. The documents pertained to Willian Hinman, former director of corporate finance in the regulatory commission.
The judge’s order stands as a notable win for Ripple. With the news, XRP has moved into a new price rally area. The token finally broke the resistance level indicated by the 200-day moving average.
Moreover XRP, broke above the two-year bearish trend. XRP was among the top performers, up about 15.45% on September 29.
However, XRP has lost more than 10% of what it collected over the weekend. At the time of writing, the price is trading at $0.4696, posting a gain in the last 24 hours.
