Carla Kriwet is stepping down from the CEO position at the Fresenius dialysis subsidiary Fresenius Medical Care after just two months. Effective immediately, he will be succeeded by the previous CFO Helen Giza, 54, who was previously Deputy CEO of Fresenius Medical Care (FMC).

According to an official statement, Kriwet, 51, is leaving the company at his own request and by mutual agreement because of strategic differences. According to Handelsblatt information, it was also about shaping the transformation and restructuring process of Fresenius Medical Care.

Before her time at Fresenius Medical Care, the new FMC boss Helen Giza worked for the pharmaceutical group Takeda, where she successfully oversaw the integration of acquisitions and thus gained a reputation as a transformation manager.
