The majority of people in need of care are cared for at home. What to consider when it comes to long-term care insurance or daily care allowance.

Munich Every twentieth person in Germany is in need of care. The vast majority are seniors, but there are also thousands of children and young people.

According to the Federal Statistical Office, 80 percent of those in need of care are cared for at home, often cared for by relatives.

Yet many relatives do not have the knowledge, strength, and time to adequately care for them on a day-to-day basis. In this case, she must be supported by a nursing service or the move to a nursing home must be organized.
