Cardano (ADA), While exhibiting a sensational performance until the middle of 2021, it was one of the ones that experienced a drastic decline afterwards. Ethereum‘Fame (ETH) ADA, which was implemented by Ethereum co-founder Charles Hoskinson as its rival, did not make a good start in 2022. The team seems determined to change that.
IOHK Communications Consultant Tim Harrison gave one of the expected good news in his post. Harrison gave the Cardnao community a mid-month update and shared his scaling plans for 2022.
Project Explosion in the ADA Network
According to the transmitted information, it is currently on the Cardano network. 199 projects is under development and this is definitely a big improvement for Cardano, whose smart contracts are allegedly not working.
Cardano CEO Hoskinson, in response to the criticism, asked which project would like to be the 200th.

Hoskinson stated in his statement at the end of December 2021 that there were close to 175 projects in the network, and this actually shows that 24 more projects were added in a short time. It is stated that 17 projects will be launched in the first quarter of 2022, that is, until April. Although the features and objectives of these projects are not disclosed, it is clear that the Cardano network will continue to grow.
After the Alonzo hard fork, the Cardano network is preparing to revolutionize scalability with the Hydra hard fork. With Hydra, the L2 network will be brought to the Cardano network and a functionality just like Ethereum’s Polygon will be added. The ADA price is trading at $1.27 before these major developments.
