Cardano (ADA) Developers Date for Highly-anticipated Development!

Cardano (ADA) A new one has been added to the important news about the last period.

The mainnet launch date of the DJED stablecoin, one of the anticipated events of the ADA ecosystem, has been set as January 2023 by the coin’s distributor, COTI.

COTI CEO Shahaf Bar-Geffen made the announcement during the 2022 Cardano Summit on Monday and was later confirmed by their official Twitter account.

The launch date of the coin was previously postponed with the postponement of the Vasil hard fork on the Cardano network.

Cardano Stablecoin DJED Takes Appropriate Steps For DJED Pay

According to the announcement, the launch date has been set for January 2023 as a result of the success of the over-collateralized algorithmic stablecoin’s comprehensive audit.

A payment platform called Djed Pay by the Cardano Foundation and COTI, and cryptocurrency unit payment gateway has also been introduced and will enable businesses to accept Djed as payment.

It’s been just two months since COTI last updated the community on Djed development work, which includes steps to improve off-chain code to run Cardano node version 1.35.x more effectively in the custom test environment.

Bar-Geffen highlighted the importance of Djed launch, noting the joint efforts of COTI and Input Output Global (IOG) to ensure the stablecoin’s success.

COTI CEO continued his statements as follows:

“Recent market events have proven once again that we need a volatility safe haven and Djed will serve as this safe haven on the Cardano network. We need not only a stable coin, but also a decentralized coin with on-chain proof of reserve.”
