Dusseldorf Shortly before Christmas and the turn of the year it is particularly bitter, but sometimes there is no other way: companies have to lay off some of their employees. Sometimes only individual projects are cancelled. However, due to the enormously increased costs for energy and primary products, there is currently a risk that companies will find themselves in difficulties on a large scale.

The Federal Association of Medium-Sized Businesses recently warned of a wave of bankruptcies among small and medium-sized companies.
