BlackRock CEO Reveals Skepticism About Bitcoin: “It May Be Worthless!”

Larry Fink, president and CEO of BlackRock, which is among the largest asset management companies in the world with an asset value of $ 9.5 trillion, said that he is undecided about Bitcoin.

The billionaire businessman agreed with JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon, emphasizing that Bitcoin is probably worthless.

Fink, who is also known for his references to Bitcoin, stated that he is not a big fan of Bitcoin, but supports people who invest in the crypto space.

The famous CEO, who argues that he has no idea whether the price of Bitcoin will go to zero or $ 80,000;

I am not a Bitcoin student. So I can’t tell you where it will go and whether it will go to $80,000 or zero.

The billionaire CEO said that although he draws attention with his skepticism about Bitcoin, he does not have the same opinion about digital currencies.

Pointing out that digital currencies will play an important role for consumers around the world, Fink said,

I believe that digitalized currencies play a huge role. Whether it’s Bitcoin, something else, or an official digital currency, a digital dollar… Time will tell.

Finally, Fink emphasized that he chats with people on the street more about crypto than anything else. “It’s great to see how people are so fascinated by it, taking an interest in it. I see great opportunities in a digitized crypto” said.
