Genesis, one of the world’s largest bitcoin miners, has grown its production capacity.
According to a statement made by Genesis Digital Assets today, the company will be able to return to its old capacity in the first six months of the year. Add another 708 megawatts made.
With the company’s increased production capacity, Genesis management aims to employ a total of 625 people at its facilities in Texas and South and North Carolina.
Genesis has built more than 20 facilities designed for cryptocurrency mining since 2013. The total value of bitcoins mined by the company, which has operated more than 300,000 miners since its establishment, exceeds 1 billion dollars.
Regarding their performance since the beginning of the year, Genesis COO Andrey Kim said:
“We are very satisfied with our growth rate in the USA. While market volatility remains, we are more committed than ever before to our mission to power the Bitcoin network.”
