Bitcoin Exchange Backed by PayPal Founder Starts Operations!

Bullish exchange, backed by PayPal co-founder Peter Thiel, has announced that it has started offering cryptocurrency trading services for institutional businesses.

Institutional cryptocurrency exchange Bullish offers the exchange of Bitcoin, Ethereum and EOS tokens against the USD.

The stock market said that they plan to expand the activity they started for institutional investors to retail investors in the future.

Among the first clients of the Bullish exchange are companies such as New York-based electronics firm Virtu Financial and Hong Kong-based crypto finance firm Amber Group.

Founded earlier this year as a subsidiary of blockchain software company Block.one, the developer of EOS, the Bullish exchange boasts PayPal co-founder Peter Thiel, as well as famous Hong Kong billionaires Richard Li and hedge fund managers Alan Howard and Louis Bacon. backed by investors.

Brendan Blumer, head of the Bullish exchange, said in an interview with Forbes that the infrastructure of the exchange was “designed to meet the needs of investors who want secure exposure to digital assets on a regulated platform and with innovative liquidity and portfolio management options stemming from an entirely new platform.”

The exchange, which received a blockchain license from the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission (GFSC) earlier this year, is currently only available in the UK, Germany, and Brazil, but not in the US.

The exchange also plans to go public on the New York Stock Exchange by merging with SPAC company Far Peak Acquisition Crop in 2022.
