Schleswig-Holstein’s Prime Minister Daniel Günther (CDU) is for To further restrict contact opportunities for unvaccinated people. He does not support the call for a nationwide lockdown. “I think that unvaccinated people should not meet at all during these times in order not to spread the virus,” said Günther on Monday in Kiel.
For example, the study by the National Academy of Sciences Leopoldina showed that out of ten new infections eight to nine were due to unvaccinated people. This already shows that the fewer unvaccinated people met, the better. Therefore, he is very much in favor of restricting these areas even further. Günther also renewed his call for mandatory vaccination. He believes that this is necessary in Germany in order to find a sensible way out of the pandemic.
