Dusseldorf The Netflix stock crash also hit star investor Bill Ackman. His hedge fund Pershing Square lost $ 430 million this year with titles from the streaming provider, according to calculations by the financial service Bloomberg. Pershing Square did not comment on the number.
Netflix announced on Tuesday evening after the market closed that the number of subscribers had fallen for the first time in more than ten years. In the second quarter, the US company expects to lose more subscribers. As a result, Netflix shares fell more than 30 percent on Wednesday.
