Big hike from Tesla to autonomous driving!

Driverless cars are getting one step closer every day. One of the companies with the most important technologies in this regard is Tesla. With the Full Autonomous Driving (FSD) system it offers, the company offers its users a driverless journey experience. Of course, this system has a cost.

Tesla’s autonomous driving technology is now $15,000

Tesla has decided to increase the price of its Fully Autonomous Driving (FSD) feature for the second time this year. Company CEO Elon Musk has announced that the upfront cost of driver assistance software will rise to $15,000 on September 5. The automaker will apply the current $12,000 price to orders placed before this date.

Tesla has renewed its supercomputer! Musk’s new beast

Tesla bought new GPUs for its supercomputer Dojo. The supercomputer Dojo ranks seventh in the world, according to the company.

No explanation has yet been made about the subscription plans of the company’s FSD technology. Tesla charges a monthly subscription fee of $199 for owners of vehicles with fully autonomous driving technology. The company, which wants an extra $3,000 to add this technology to the vehicles, has not yet made a statement about monthly fees.

Tesla has consistently increased the price of its Fully Autonomous Driving feature over the years. When the company first started offering FSD as a separate option from Autopilot, it was charging consumers $5,000 to add the software during configuration. Those who wanted to use this system in their vehicles later had to pay 7 thousand dollars.

Earlier this year, the fee required for FSD had increased from $10,000 to $12,000. Elon Musk, in a statement he made last month, stated that this amount is very cheap. With increasing inflation, the company made the second increase in the fee requested for FSD in a year.

Fully autonomous driving technology is now gradually becoming a part of our lives. More cars will host such technologies in the future. So what do you think about Tesla’s fully autonomous driving technology? You can share your views with us in the comments section.
