BBVA Switzerland Adds This Altcoin To Its Cryptocurrency Services!

The Swiss branch of Spanish banking giant BBVA has announced that it is expanding its cryptocurrency trading services.

BBVA Switzerland has taken another step in the field of crypto by including Etherem, the second most used and in demand cryptocurrency, into its crypto custody and transaction services.

BBVA Switzerland, which has been providing custody and transaction services for Bitcoin for its customers since June, has become the first traditional bank in Europe to add Ethereum to its portfolio of transaction services.

Alfonso Gomez, CEO of BBVA Switzerland, continued by saying that the Bitcoin custody and transaction service that they started to offer in June was very well received by customers and new investors:

“We have decided to add Ethereum to our crypto portfolio. Because, together with Bitcoin, the most interesting cryptocurrency among investors is Ethereum.”

Customers of BBVA Switzerland with a “New Gen account” will have the opportunity to manage their portfolios by buying and selling Bitcoin and Ethereum holdings. In this context, customers will be able to view their crypto assets along with their other traditional investments through the BBVA application.

They will also be able to automatically convert their cryptocurrencies into Euros, Dollars or other fiat currencies.

BBVA Switzerland, one of the largest banks in Europe, stated that it will continue to expand its digital asset portfolio and expand to new countries in the coming months.
