Bayraktar Akıncı made the first shot with the Tolun miniature bomb!

The progress of Turkish defense industry companies in software and ammunition, especially in air, sea and land vehicles, continues at a great pace. Finally, today Bayraktar Akıncı B conducted a shooting test with a Tolun miniature bomb developed by Aselsan.

Bayraktar Akıncı made the first shot with the Tolun miniature bomb!

Developed after the operational success of Bayraktar TB2 and TUSAŞ Anka in the field, Akıncı and Aksungur represent Turkey’s transition from SİHA to TİHA. Of course, both companies are currently focused on the next target, the unmanned warplanes we call MIUS. In fact, we will see their first flights in the next few months.

In addition, Aselsan, Roketsan and Havelsan continue their work on all kinds of air, land and sea vehicles such as new ammunition, sensors and computers developed specifically for the system. Today, Aselsan’s Tolun miniature bomb has been integrated into Bayraktar Akıncı B.

Bayraktar Akıncı B, which can fly on an F-16, has entered the inventory!

Bayraktar Akıncı B, who managed to break the national altitude record last June, entered the inventory of the TİHA TAF.

Bayraktar Akıncı B, carrying 4 Tolun miniature bombs under the fuselage in a single station with the Intelligent Multi-Transport Hall, managed to hit its target 30 km away from an altitude of approximately 26 thousand feet with a deviation of less than 1 meter thanks to GPS/INS guidance. This shows that the ammunition has a very high sensitivity.

Thanks to Tolun’s versatile structure, it can drill 1 meter of reinforced concrete when necessary, or it can be manually controlled during gliding thanks to its Man in the loop feature. Its range can be up to 2 to 3 times, depending on the drop height.
