Banks fear a Dax slip of up to 11,000 points

Frankfurt Inflation, rate hikes, recession – triggered by a war in Europe. Concerns about the numerous trouble spots come to a head again and cause the stock markets to collapse. The attempt to recover from the summer is history.

On Wednesday, the Dax fell well below the 12,000 point mark at times and marked a new low for the year at 11,863 points. Its annual minus adds up to around 23 percent, and the Dax is trading at the level of November 2020. The situation is similar with the US leading index S&P 500.
