A baby outfit ad listed on Trendyol created a huge controversy on the internet because of a photo it contained. Sharing a photo of a baby from behind in fishnet stockings and a tiger-patterned outfit sparked child abuse debates.
While some of the photos posted on e-commerce sites by the sellers occasionally garnered reactions, a new one has joined these photos today. Seen on e-commerce giant Trendyol photo in a baby clothes adwas criticized by many users on social media. Some users found the reactions to be exaggerated.
The ad, brought up by a user of Ekşi Sözlük, was titled ‘Girl’s Frilly Salopette Bandana Set’. Two photos of the product show the outfit, while the other photos added a doll dressed in a dress was located. But one of the photos with the baby became the source of the backlash.

With the incident on the internet, Trendyol, the photos of the baby in the advertisement removed from product page. In addition, the writer of Ekşi Sözlük, who started the discussions, claimed that Trendyol reached out to them, apologized about the announcement and said that they would give detailed information about the subject.
