Erin Plante, director of research at Chainalysis, made the following statement about the incident:

“With the help of American cyber law enforcement and leading institutions, we have recovered the stolen funds of the Axie Infinity platform. Cryptocurrency stolen by North Korean hackers was seized. The market value of the seized cryptocurrencies is around $30 million.”
