Vienna For the past two months, Moscow has been systematically attacking Ukraine’s civilian infrastructure in order to demoralize the population at the beginning of winter. According to Kiev, more than 1,000 cruise missiles and drones fell on electricity and substations as well as power lines during this time – in eight large and over a dozen smaller attack waves. According to Prime Minister Denis Schmihal, 40 percent of the network has been damaged, and every thermal and hydroelectric power station in the country has been shot at at least once.

On Wednesday morning there was apparently another attack on the capital Kyiv, which was shaken by several explosions. Information about victims was initially not available. According to the first findings, two administration buildings in the center were damaged, the city authorities said. Mayor Vitali Klitschko said the anti-aircraft systems shot down ten Shahed drones.
