Dusseldorf Job opportunities always have something to do with probabilities. Applicants have it easier where there is a large offer than in cities with little choice. But where in Germany are the most jobs advertised per inhabitant? In which sectors do applicants have the best chances, depending on the city?
The Heyjobs job portal evaluated around 80,000 job advertisements exclusively for the Handelsblatt. Specialists with annual salaries of less than 70,000 euros, including nurses, truck drivers and call center agents, look around on the portal. These people make up 80 percent of the job market, says Heyjobs founder Marius Luther. “The figures are a reflection of how different the shortage of skilled workers in popular professions is in this country.”
