Apple Plays Turkish Rock Song at Launch

Apple played the Turkish rock band Lalalar’s song “Don’t Call My Big Sister, Olur” at the global launch of the iPhone’s operating system, iOS 16.

Traditionally, where all the software features that will come to the Apple world are announced, WWDC 2022 event was held. At the event, new generation operating systems and new features of important hardware such as iPhone, Mac, Apple Watch and Apple TV were announced.

In the presentation made during the event, there was also a sweet moment that would make Apple fans and rock music lovers in Turkey smile.

Turkish rock band Lalalar’s song ‘Don’t Say My Big Brother’ at Apple’s global event (you can scroll to 25:14):

The song was used as background music after the introduction of Apple Pay, Apple’s payment service, which is not actively used in Turkey. From Apple’s product managers Craig Federighicontinued the rest of the presentation with this song.
