Another hike for Steam game prices!
Steam has subsidized game prices in Turkey for a long time. For example, a game that was sold for around 40-60 dollars abroad should have been sold for 800-1000 TL in our country, while it had a tag of around 100-150 TL.
When this situation lost its sustainability, Steam increased the dollar rate by 5-6 times. So it’s actually still subsidizing in half. However, the critical threshold in game prices has been exceeded. That’s why AAA quality games are now coming with price tags over 1000 TL.
