AMD introduced its new graphics driver, version number Adrenalin Edition 24.9.1, to users. The new update brings optimizations to popular games such as Frostpunk 2, God of War: Ragnarök, Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 and The Sims 4. Here are the details…
AMD has released the new Adrenalin Edition 24.9.1 version update: Major improvements in game performance have been made
It should be noted that with the update, AMD’s AFMF 2 technology is also fully integrated in this version. The biggest thing about this technology is that it improves frame rates in games by providing lower latency and a smoother gaming experience.
AMD’s highly praised Fluid Motion Frames 2 (AFMF 2) technology can be used in AMD Radeon RX 6000 and 7000 series graphics cards and some AMD Ryzen processors. This technology also includes artificial intelligence-supported optimizations to increase frame rates and reduce delays in games. It is possible to quickly activate this technology, especially with the HYPR-RX profile.
Meanwhile, support for Vulkan and OpenGL games has also been expanded. Additionally, it is stated that 2.5% higher frame rates are achieved in some games. In this update, AMD also introduced a new technology called geometric scaling. This technology provides a smoother image by reducing visual distortions and anti-aliasing problems.
Finally, bug fixes are also included in this version. Fixed memory usage increase in certain versions of Minecraft, blinking issue in Microsoft Teams, and bugs that caused DirectX 12 applications to crash with some character sets.
