Aldi & Lidl are fighting for the garbage business

Dusseldorf The discounter Aldi also wants to earn money with the disposal of garbage in the future: A few days ago the company announced a cooperation with the packaging disposal company Interseroh +. According to Handelsblatt research, this could soon lead to a corporate marriage.

A spokesman for the parent company Alba Group confirmed that Interseroh + was spun off from Interseroh in May in order to be able to turn disposal customers such as Aldi into co-shareholders. They should be recorded in the form of a silent participation.

This would take the eternal duel between Aldi and Lidl to a new level. Because in the future they will be competing to control the entire cycle of recyclable materials in retail – from production and sale of goods to the complete recycling of packaging.
