Dusseldorf, Frankfurt The air taxi start-up Volocopter is threatened with legal trouble with 177 of its investors. On Tuesday morning, Dirk Hoke, who had just taken office, received a letter from a law firm commissioned by the “Volocopter Investors’ Association”. This wants to achieve “fair participation” for its clients.

In the letter, which is available to the Handelsblatt, the law firm also refers to alleged “mistakes in the participation agreements”, which could apparently become the basis for court proceedings.

When asked by the Handelsblatt, Volocopter said of the allegations: “Due to the confidentiality clause, which is part of the contracts we signed, it is not possible for us to make more detailed statements about the contract to you.” The company explained that Volocopter is always on it anxious to fulfill obligations to contractual partners “in full”. This is “of course also the case for the contracts that we have entered into with the lenders.”
