Agricultural machinery manufacturer Claas gets new CEO

Harsewinkel Change of management at agricultural machinery manufacturer Claas: Jan-Hendrik Mohr will lead the family business from East Westphalia from April 1st. The 59-year-old replaces Thomas Böck as CEO, as the company based in Harsewinkel announced on Thursday.

Graduate engineer Mohr has been with Claas since 1984 and has been a member of the group management since 2008. Most recently, he was responsible for the grain harvest business area. According to Claas, Böck has resigned and is leaving the company.

The company, founded in 1913, claims to be the world market leader in self-propelled forage harvesters and the European market leader in combine harvesters. With a turnover of 4.9 billion euros at the end of the 2021/2022 reporting year, the number of employees was 12,100. A little more than half of them are employed abroad.
