In addition, production will increase exponentially in 2024 and 2025, 100 thousand units will be produced annually as C-SUV, C-Sedan and CX Coupe in 2026, and 175,000 units will be produced annually in 2030 with B-SUV and C-MPV models. In other words, the last quarter of 2024 and the first quarter of 2025 are shown as the date that Togg will start selling in Europe. The number of overseas sales will be 10 percent of the annual production.

Togg cars will not have special names!

Gürcan Karakaş said that a name has not yet been determined for the C-SUV model, which will be available in March next year. However, he explained that no special names will be used on any cars, instead they will have codes consisting of letters and numbers similar to BMW iX, Volvo EX90 and Kia EV6, that is, model names.

All the facts about the locality rate!

Togg’s locality rate has been the subject of debate for a long time. But as of today, the net rates have been announced. According to Karakaş, 75 percent of the parts of the C-SUV model, which will be sold in March, are produced in Turkey.

However, 51 percent of the intellectual and industrial rights of all parts are in the hands of Turkish companies. In other words, although 24 percent of it is produced in our country, the property rights are in the hands of foreign companies. For this reason, the real locality rate of the first vehicle to be sold is not 75 percent, but 51 percent. However, it was said that it is aimed to increase this rate to 68 percent within 3 years.
