Berlin In polls, the AfD has reached its highest level in five years. In the Sunday trend, which the opinion research institute Insa collects for the “Bild am Sonntag”, the AfD comes to 17 percent nationwide, which is one percentage point more than in the previous week and the highest level since October 2018.

The Greens lose a point, come to 14 percent and thus fall below their result in the federal election (14.8 percent). The Social Democrats can make up a point and come to 21 percent this week. The FDP loses a point and comes to eight percent. The traffic light would thus clearly miss the parliamentary majority.

The Union remains the strongest force with 28 percent, the left can gain a point and will come back to five percent this week. The other parties could collect seven percent of the votes (minus one percentage point).
